Manhattan Beach is home to middle class families who are drawn to the exemplary schools, as well as upscale professionals from various fields. The city center lies at the coastline, and is flanked by oceanfront neighborhoods that face the sea. It’s east and west sides are separated by Sepulveda Boulevard.

The west side of the city is an idyllic beach town, offering both grand and middle class homes on streets that slope down toward the ocean. Here you will find the city center and pier areas- which are beautifully set up for sightseeing, shopping, strolling, and outdoor activities of all types. The beach is two miles long and swimmers, surfers, volleyball players and sunbathers take advantage of the good weather year round.

The east side of the city is made up of a golf course and Country Club area, a gated community and middle class homes on tree lined streets. Along the Rosecrans corridor restaurants, office buildings, fitness centers and retail meld. The Manhattan Studios round out this bustling high-end commercial area.

The Manhattan Beach Unified School District serves the area and all schools rank in the 90th percentile. The city has top notch parks, a golf course, racquetball and tennis courts, a library and community center. City events include art festivals, concerts in the park, boutiques, nightlife and so much more.

Commuters will travel 22 miles to downtown Los Angeles and four miles to the airport.
